Youth Dynamics Adventures has three bases and although some of the terrain is unique in each state, the same passion to fulfill your trip with your unique goals for your group is the same.
Guest Paddler Opportunity
Youth Dynamics Adventures trains new guides every year. To assist these trainees, we need guest paddlers to fill our boats so our trainers can see the new guides in action! This final part of the training process is essential to ensure our new guides are ready to take students down the river.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH YOUTH DYNAMICS ADVENTURES
Life and Leadership Training
This 6-week internship is an opportunity for young adults, ages 16-19, to work closely with stateside missionaries who use wilderness adventures to share the love of Christ. Students will experience and engage in discipleship, adventure, service projects, challenges, and leadership opportunities. The program runs from July 1 – August 11 each year and students may experience Inflatable Kayaking, Whitewater Rafting, Rock Climbing, Horseback Riding, Backpacking, Hiking, Challenge Course, and Mountaineering. (Note that experiences vary depending on adventure base location.) This is a highly relational and discipleship-based program, emphasizing individual and group exploration of culturally relevant topics and present experiences.
Summer Staff
Each summer Youth Dynamics Adventures hires a select number of talented young adults from all over the world to lead adventure trips for teens in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. The Summer Staff ministry team undergoes extensive training and is an integral part of the summer ministry program, which is committed to reaching today’s youth through dynamic relationships and challenging experiences.
As a member of the Summer Staff team, you will guide teens on a variety of wilderness activities, including whitewater rafting, rock climbing, backpacking, challenge courses, horseback riding, kayaking, and more. You will work alongside staff and design the ministry program for each trip and assist in the preparations and logistical operations of the trips. As you serve others, you will also be challenged in your own faith as you work in Christian service with a team of believers and experience your own “edge” moments.
Staffing opportunities are available at each of our three Adventure Bases (Idaho, Oregon, and Stonewater in Washington). Each base has a unique focus of ministry, united by the same heart to share Christ with teens.
Internships
If you are unsure if a permanent ministry position is for you or if you are looking for a short-term missionary experience, an internship through Youth Dynamics might just be the opportunity for you.
Youth Dynamics offers a 12-month internship, either in a community or at an adventure base, that allows you to learn and minister alongside seasoned staff. This is a ministry experience internship that will focus on your faith journey and leadership development.
Adventure Bible School
Adventure Bible School will disciple, equip, and empower adults 18 and older by providing a safe, engaging, and adventure-centric learning environment for self-discovery, leadership, and faith. Stonewater is the ideal location for this 5-week course integrating technical outdoor skills, bible teaching, worship, community, and wilderness adventure. The course is offered twice a year (fall and spring) and aims to increase personal faith, Biblical knowledge and application, self-discovery, personal responsibility, teamwork, and leadership potential.
